CLEVELAND (AP) — Deshaun Watson threw two touchdown passes — one bouncing off an Arizona helmet — in his second start for Cleveland in five weeks due to a shoulder injury and the Browns held the Cardinals to just 58 yards in a 27-0 win Sunday. It was Cleveland’s first shutout since 2007.Watson looked rusty and indecisive at times in his first full game since Sept. 24, when he sustained a strained rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder. He completed 19 of 30 passes for 219 yards — 139 to Amari Cooper. But while Watson and the offense struggled to re-establish any rhythm following their time apart, the Browns (5-3) leaned on their top-ranked defense to stifle the Cardinals (1-8), who started rookie quarterback Clayton Tune.Cleveland’s defense set up both Watson TD passes with turnovers, and the Browns recorded seven sacks, with Dalvin Tomlinson getting Tune 2 1/2 times.Watson connected with Cooper on an 11-yard scoring pass in the second quarter and hooked up with tight end D...Off-duty US Park Police officer fatally shoots another officer in McLean

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Until the Miami Dolphins win the big games, coach Mike McDaniel knows the same questions will be asked.Miami brought the NFL’s No. 1 offense to Germany and goes home with an 0-3 record against teams with winning records this season after losing 21-14 to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Deutsche Bank Park.“We knew going into the game that if we’re going to lose what the narrative will be, and that’s fair,” McDaniel said. “We shouldn’t feel entitled to high opinions from the masses. We have to earn that confidence.”The Dolphins, who are 6-3, mounted a comeback after a dismal performance on offense in the first half.Patrick Mahomes threw two touchdown passes and Bryan Cook took a fumble return 59 yards for a score to go into halftime with a 21-0 lead.Cedric Wilson Jr. caught a 31-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and Raheem Mostert ran for a 13-yard score to put the defending Super Bowl champions under pressure. But consecutive miscues with the ...Ravens rout Seahawks 37-3 behind defense and Keaton Mitchell’s big day

With the state’s shelter system at or approaching maximum capacity, the governor is suggesting new migrants could consider settling somewhere other than Massachusetts after they cross the U.S. border.According to Gov. Maura Healey, there are 40 to 50 new families arriving in the state every day and seeking state assistance with housing, and the influx of people to Massachusetts — many without lawful presence in the U.S. — has pushed the state’s shelter system close to its 7,500-family limit.“We expect to reach it soon,” Healey told WCVB. “We’ve just reached capacity here in terms of the physical space where we can house people, the number of service providers who are out there to provide services, and also the funds to pay for this.”Healey did not directly say what happens to a family seeking Emergency Assistance shelter after the cap is reached, though she said she hoped it didn’t come to unhoused people sleeping at Logan Airport or in emergency rooms.
