Gavin Newsom said. Atmospheric rivers and "bomb cyclones" generated relentless winter storms with deadly flooding. Whipping winds toppled thousands of trees, while mudslides and road washouts created dangerous driving conditions. Daphne Fontino, 43, drowned in floodwaters when her car become submerged in 10 feet of water, the Sonoma County Fire District said. On January 10, 2023, she called 911 reporting that her car was stuck in flood waters in Forestville. (KRON) -- Thieves in San Francisco stole handmade artwork over the weekend just as the woman who painstakingly created the one-of-a-kind piece was getting ready for holiday sales. She is heartbroken and would like to get those irreplaceable items back.The artist, Simone Guimaraes, shared surveillance video with KRON4 of what looks to be three people ransacking her truck then taking off with those precious designs.“Happy Saturday today I am selling my artwork at Telegraph in Berkeley take a look at my table!” Guimaraes said.Guimaraes happily showcased her art in Berkeley on Saturday. Data released by Google recently shows that air quality was the phrase most commonly searched on the engine when accompanied by "near me." When it comes to celebrities, the data shows that the people of the Bay Area appear to be interested in Taylor Swift, Pedro Pascal and Lionel Messi.
